- Two things on Joey's bucket list are: To become a pilot; and to finish hiking the Appalachian Trail, of which he has already completed one-third.
- For Joey, living a Life on Fire is "to have an open communication and daily walk with Jesus Christ."
Special Thanks From Pedro Perez:
- Joey Figueroa has faithfully served in the Florida Conference as the Camporee Director for the past several years. He has helped organize successful State and Union Camporees, and most recently the Area Camporees. He was also key in helping us have a great Oshkosh International Pathfinder Camporee experience. His influence has also been felt in other areas of Pathfinder ministry through his contributions in PAC. God has blessed the Florida Pathfinder ministry through Joey. We are grateful Joey, for your solid years of service.
- Joey has announced that he will be stepping down as Camporee Director in order to give more time to his family and local club (which has grown immensely under his leadership). We will miss Joey and the expertise he added to our team, and we wish him the best in all his future pursuits.
- I wish I would have expressed our appreciation to Joey at the Central Area Camporee when he was with his peers/club. I regret that I missed that opportunity to say Thank You to such a great servant leader on our team, and acknowledge him publicly.
- If you would like to express your thanks to Joey, please send him an email through us at:
FLYouthMinistries@floridaconference.com
We will be compiling a "booklet" of emails / appreciation notes for him.
Thanks FL Pathfinder Nation!
Courage, Pedro

Life on Fire Guide/Resource
Your very own Florida Conference Ministries Department has created a LIFE ON FIRE Guide! This resource guide is to help you help your young people live a Life on Fire. You will be able to take your young person step-by-step through a process to help them discover how they can use what they already enjoy doing, and ask God to help them make it into a ministry. Can you imagine your young people DOING ministry - not just having adults minister to them?
|
|
We want to Train, Equip, and Deploy a generation of young people that know their talents and gifts, and are putting them into action to grow God's kingdom. A Life on Fire is a life that serves God and others. This resource can help your young people get headed in the right direction.
We would love to send you a sample for FREE, to check it out for yourself, and dream of the possibilities of how you could help your young people GROW, and experience a Life on Fire for God. Get your free copy of the Life on Fire guide, and/or purchase several:
