The Presbyterian Youth Triennium is July 19-23, 2016.

Every three years, the Presbyterian Church (USA) holds a church wide gathering of youth at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Thousands of youth with their adult advisors meet to worship, experience community, and deepen their faith. In 2013 over 5,000 youth were in attendance!

"Go!" is the theme for the 2016 Youth Triennium: It is a theme all about the charge given by the Risen Christ at the Great Commission, to "go out into the world and make disciples."

Hudson River Presbytery is sending a delegation of youth (entering high school through graduated seniors) to the 2016 Triennium. We look forward to meeting and hearing from interested youth nominated by your church who wish to learn and grow in faith through the experience of attending the Youth Triennium in 2016.

Attached here is an information/application form for youth you would like to nominate to participate in the Presbytery delegation. There is no limit on the number of youth a church may nominate, so please make copies as needed. All youth nominated should be well known to you, and demonstrate maturity and responsibility as assessed by the congregation, and endorsed by the pastor or clerk of session.

The cost of Triennium is $825 per person, which includes registration, accommodations, meals and transportation. This is a profound, once in a lifetime experience for everyone who participates and we hope that local congregations will be able to find creative ways to help make this affordable for all those who wish to attend. Please contact either TE Jacob Bolton (Coordinator) or TE Dorinda Violante (Registrar) with questions or concerns about Triennium.

The attached application must be returned by November 30, 2015, to:

The Rev. Dorinda Violante
First Presbyterian Church

We look forward to "Go-ing" out into the world together!
