About Monona Terrace:

Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center opened its doors after nearly 60 years of debate on July 18, 1997. It was first designed by Wisconsin native and internationally-renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938 as a cultural, governmental and recreational building. Wright reworked the design several times between 1938 and 1958 before signing off on the final plans seven weeks before his death in 1959. With interiors redesigned by Taliesin architect Tony Puttnam, Monona Terrace spans ninety feet out over shimmering waters, incorporating thoroughly modern technology and amenities with the architect's signature organic design. Learn more about the history and sustainability efforts of Monona Terrace.

General Session:

The Future of Wonderware HMI

Special Guest John Krajewski - Director of Product Management HMI/SCADA, Schneider Electric

  • From John’s vantage point as chief architect for InTouch and the visualization space, he will present the key design considerations and challenges involved with delivering world class graphical decision support information to key individuals with production and operations responsibility.

Breakout Focus Sessions:

InTouch - 2014R2 Release:

Wonderware Supervisory HMI offers unmatched investment protection to plant users with legendary ease of use, unparalleled scalability, matchless capabilities and standards-based, secure integration. Learn how to take advantage of ArchestrA graphics natively within InTouch WindowMaker, or push InTouch graphics to mobile devices via InTouch Access Anywhere.

System Platform - 2014R2 Release:

Wonderware System Platform surpasses all other so-called platforms in engineering simplicity, operational agility, information empowerment and global installed license base. It enables customers to adapt quickly, easily and affordably to expansion and change. Learn about new, pre-built graphic objects delivering ready-to-use value.

Historian:

Wondeware’s high-performance Historian easily stores, retrieves and securely delivers information to the desktop or mobile device. It is the perfect complement to InTouch. Today, no industrial system is complete without one - or two! Discover our low-cost, two-tier solution, and learn about how to use Historian  as a plant dashboard engine with graphic displays for things like simple downtime, time-in-state, or batch summary.

NEW Wonderware Industrial Computers:

Panels and Thin Clients! See our brand new hardware bundled with InTouch and InTouch for Machine Edition in sizes 7” to 24”. You simply have to give these a look!

"Getting Started" Packs - Low-Cost, Quick Value Solutions:

System Platform Starter is a bit of a secret. Starter contains exactly the same functionality and capabilities of a full system platform, but is targeted to much smaller system sizes (as small as a single client). They include a Historian and Historian Client, AND are priced under $5K! If you manage recipes or set-points, you need to consider the new Recipe Manager Plus; also included with System Platform Starter. In addition, you'll learn about the brand new Alarm Advisor, offering "any browser" reporting on alarms - right out of the box.

Mobility:

In this session, we will highlight Relevance, a technology partner product from ACP ThinManager. Relevance extends ThinManager to deliver applications and information based on location. This allows workers the option of having information automatically pushed to a mobile device based on area and proximity. All data is super secure – no data is stored to the device in use.

Thin Client Computing:

Here, we will highlight the flagship ACP ThinManager product. ThinManager is perfect for downsizing your plant floor clients to lightweight, industrial thin clients without changing the underlying applications. ThinManager display clients can be generated by a Terminal Server, VM or IP Camera.

MES:

MES is Manufacturing Execution.  The Wonderware Operations Module integrates to the plant model developed in System Platform and leverages work flow functionality to provide manufacturing enforcement around routes, steps, materials and quality tests; ensuring a paper trail of best practices, consumption and production.

 Reporting:

This session will highlight the Wonderware Dream Report package. Dream Report reduces report development time and works with your existing Wonderware software tools.

Virtualization For Industrial Automation:

Learn how Stratus fault-tolerant FTServer simplifies the move to virtualized environments and provides 99.999% uptime to your mission critical automation systems.
