17th Annual Azalea Trail

azaleas

Designated the Garden Capital of Texas, Nacogdoches' breathtaking natural beauty is a sight to behold year round. It's especially a must-see in March when profusely flowering azaleas take center stage during the seventeenth annual Nacogdoches Azalea Trail. As always, the centerpieces of the Azalea Trail are the 25 miles of self-guided driving routes that meander through the oldest town in Texas and the stunning Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden, also known as the largest azalea garden in state. Free guided tours of the Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden are offered every Saturday in March. The Annual Nacogdoches Azalea Trail will also feature special events, such as A Bloomin' Good Volkswagen Show, Little Princess Garden Party, Main Street Shop and Stroll and more. For more information, please contact the Visitor Center at (936)564-7351 or visit  www.nacogdochesazaleas.com.
