It didn't quite make it to 100 degrees on Sunday as is tradition for the Championship, but it was close. Thirty-eight competitors signed up as did 4 FUN play players. In addition, we had 8 volunteers helping throughout the day. Winners were: Stroke Division Fourth Flight:

- Marilyn Peterson - 1st Low Net of 70
Third Flight:
- Sonya Bradley - 1st Low Gross with a 100
- Deana Frandsen - 1st Low Net of 69
Second Flight:
- In a sudden death playoff among three players with 98 (Tammy Pinnick, Belinda Kendle and Carey McLean) Tammy emerged as the 1st Low Gross winner.

First Flight:
- Kris Corbridge - 1st Low Gross with a 83

Championship Flight:

- Linda DeLong - 1st Low Net of 74
Scramble Division First Place
- Captain Pam Katros, Chao Chen, Tillie Melton and Shelley Van Drimmelen with a Net 64
All of the players are moving onto the Semi-Finals at the Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton on August 1 with the exception of Linda DeLong who is unable to move forward, so she declined the invitation to compete. In her place will be Nanci Smith who had a gross 85 and a 76 net. |
