Harte Student Center Dedication
Houston Harte and sons
A dedication ceremony for the new Harte Student Center was held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 .   We are so grateful to Houston and Carolyn Harte, whose lead gift back in 2008 allowed us to rebuild our campus infrastructure and make this new building possible.

Fo llowing the dedication ce r emony, a delicious catered cou ntry church lunch was  prepared and served by volunteers from West Plano
Presbyterian Church.  A silent auction and chance  drawing was also held to  benefit the school's scholarship fund. We are so grateful for those who volunteer their time and talents in service to our school!

Mission Presbytery Meeting Held on Campus

Liz Anzaldua, Moderator
James Lee, 2016 Mission Presbytery Moderator, and Liz Anzaldua, PPAS Class of 1969, and 2015 Mission Presbytery Moderator
The 150 churches of Mission Presbytery met on campus October 23-24 to do the mission of the larger church together. The current Moderator of Mission Presbytery is former Pan Am student, Liz Anzaldua '69, of Corpus Christi.  The event was held in our almost-complete student center, and our choir, praise team and drama team participated in the worship service. We were honored to host this event and provide opportunities for our guests to interact with our students.
Fall Festival
Fall FestivalOur annual Fall Festival was held on Friday, October 23. Students had a great time dressing up in costumes and working at the different booths. Each year, this event brings in our students' families and people from the local community with games and other fun activities for people of all ages.

Boys' Soccer Season Concludes

Boys Soccer Our boys' soccer team had a great season.  The boys came up just one goal short in a heart-breaking loss to McAllen South Texas Christian Academy in the semi-final round of the TAPPS State playoffs on October 20. The Eagles began their playoff journey by defeating Austin Waldorf 10-0 on October 12 and then were victorious over San Antonio Keystone Academy in the quarter-final round on October 17, winning that game in double-overtime.

With only 4 seniors and a large number of freshmen and sophomores on the roster, the team is poised for an even stronger season next year.  Also, six of our boys were selected to the All-District First Team.  Sophomore Edgar Chaidez was named #1 forward and junior Missael Lara was named #1 midfielder.  We are so proud of the hard work these boys put in all season!
