Information. Inspiration. Motivation.

Welcome to Leading Words, the NLP Canada Training Symposium. It's a day when 15 speakers from a surprising variety of backgrounds come together to think about how they have made positive change happen for themselves and others.

Here's what you should expect when you register:

  • The best possible introduction to NLP. Learn a simple model that epxlains how it works; learn from people who are applying it in their work and lives; learn by doing NLP in exercises that engage your whole mind.
  • Great models of how purpose & rapport drive language that works.
  • A chance to engage with great people as you listen, laugh and learn together.

If you've been curious about NLP, come and learn how the best of NLP can accelerate change and learning. If you're already a member of the NLPCT community, come back and play. We've got stuff that is NEW - and an approach to language that is powerful and intuitive and useful.

Click here for Linda's introduction to her keynote this year.

If you're new to NLPCT, then this is a wonderful place to explore our unique brand of NLP and the benefits that bring people back to learn with us over the course of many events and programs. You'll get an answer to that key question: What do people do with NLP? And you'll find yourself connecting in surprising ways with the ideas and the practices that motivate this community of good will, good learning, and good results.

You'll find all the details at www.leadingwords.com.

Register to Get More for Less

The price will be higher at the door. When you pay before October 17, your cost is only $85 including HST. At the door, you would have to pay $100 (still a bargain for a full day of ideas, networking and fun).

When we receive your payment in full before October 17, we'll falso orward you a link to a special e-book and audio series on Leading Words. You'll get three audio files (about 12 minutes each) on our main themes and a book that ties it all together.

The Morning Session at the Charbonnel Lounge

From 9:00am registration until we break for lunch at 12:30pm, we will be meeting in the Charbonnel Lounge at St. Michael's College, University of Toronto. Park in the Muzzo Family Alumni Hall lot (the lot that extends behind our building at 47 Queen's Park Cres. E.) and walk north to St. Mary Street (there will be signs, sidewalk chalk and people to help point the way). If you take the subway you can choose between Museum, Bay and Wellesley stops.

Here's a link to a map of St. Michael's College. The Charbonnel Lounge is at Elmsely Hall, 81 St. Mary's St. at the top of the map.

The morning will include two keynotes that bridge the gap from hope to leadership. I'll be setting the tone with "Monkeys and Miracles: How Language Makes Change Happen." You'll get a better understanding of why all communication is a miracle. And I'll teach you the three powerful steps to using language that works.

I am also delighted to welcome Haesun Moon to Leading Words. Haesun is the first speaker at an NLP Canada Training symposium who has not completed a certification with us.  Her official bio at U of T says: Haesun Moon is the Certificate Program Director of Solution-Focused Brief Coaching Program, and she also works in Organizational Development & Leadership at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre." If I had written that bio it would say that Haesun is brilliant and compassionate and funny and grounded. She's speaking on the miracle question, which is the solution focus question that makes it most clear that NLP and Solution Focus are the best of cousins.

You'll also to get to hear from training partner Ron Vereggen and training practitioner Kyle Horner. You'll meet all the presenters for the afternoon sessions and you'll be engaged in activities that let you meet and talk to the other people at your table.

The Afternoon Sessions at 47 Queen's Park Cres. E.

Our afternoon sessions will run from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at our regular training space at 47 Queen's Park Cres. E. We'll be showcasing  NLP practitioners and master practitioners trained here at NLPCT.

There will be three rooms with breakout sessions all afternoon. You'll have the chance to learn about self-discovery, making change happen and creativity. All the sessions will be interactive, so you will get to know the speakers and the people in your sessions. At break, you'll chat over a wonderful spread of home baking and great coffee and teas. We'll end the day with wine and cheese and stories.
