Are we close to watching our Country flip? Flip from being "under God" to being under the government? Flip from Judeo/Christian principals to secular or Sharia Laws? Flip from parental control to government control? Flip from being a world leader to a dependent country? Flip from being able to send help during catastrophes to being economically rendered helpless? Maybe. All I know is that we aren't there yet. That means there's still time to step up and DO something to prevent that flipping!

Our County Party is preparing for 2016. We need each of you to DO something! We have 8 Standing Committees through which you can volunteer your time and talent. Go to our website, ecrp.gop and click on the Volunteer tab. You can learn about the committees and choose the one you'd prefer. Then on that site, fill out a form for us to contact you or you can fill out the volunteer form for a specific project. We have set up a solid structure but we need committed individuals who are willing to sacrifice some time to this cause. Don't be a bystander and just watch the destruction of America. Be the one who can say "I fought for my Country!" The battlefield is now right here in Emmet County. Sign up today to give as much time and effort as you are able to give.

Now, on Monday, May 4th, we will be showing the highly acclaimed movie, "Agenda: The Grinding Down of America." Our meetings are always at the Northern Lights Recreation Center on Harbor-Petoskey Rd. (M-119) at 7:00pm. It's a 90 minute movie, so be prepared. This isn't a fun, entertaining movie. It's the hard facts of how our country came to be in the condition She's in today. Outside influences infiltrated every aspect of our American way of life. Mark your calendar.

Also, while you're at it, mark the next day, May 5th as Election Day! Tuesday is the day we all go to the polls and say, "NO!" to the Governor's Ballot Proposal to raise our taxes by nearly 2 Billion dollars. On May 5th, remind your friends that it's Election Day and vote. Those who want this proposal to pass are counting on very few voters turning out. Don't let them succeed! If you want information about the proposal, again, go to our website at ecrp.gop. Right on the front page you'll find two articles about why you should vote NO!

Save these dates... June 25th is the Top of the Nob event featuring Lt. Governor, Brian Calley as our speaker. Then June 15, July 20, Aug. 17 and Sept. 21 are our luncheon/speaker meetings. Check in at 11:00 am at the Maple River Restaurant in Brutus. More information will soon be on our website under Happenings.

There are many plans being made and many training sessions being attended so we're ready for 2016. Don't miss out on the opportunity to actually DO something for your Country!

Nancy Sarowski,
Chairman
