South Boston Condo Kitchen and Bathroom Makeover

Greetings!

Even though summer is still in full swing, the back-to-school adds and newspaper fliers remind us that it will be winding down soon. It's time to think about those home improvement projects you've been putting off until the kids go back to school and the weather turns cooler. The healthy home improvement climate has has kept us busy all summer. If you've been thinking about hiring us to do any of your projects, please give us a call soon as we are now scheduling into October/November.

Next month I will once again be traveling to the Chicago Institute of Fine Finishes, this time for a two-day workshop. Myself and about 15 other decorative artists will be learning some great new cabinet and wall finishes with two very experienced and knowledgeable instructors. I can't wait to share what I've learned with you!

I'm also very excited to announce that I am featured as Decorative Artisan of the Month on the Chicago Institute of Fine Finishes website as well as having an article on Kitchen Cabinets, The Kitchen is the Heart of The Home. South Boston Kitchen Makeover

While browsing Houzz.com these newlywed homeowners saw photos of a kitchen we painted last fall. Since it was exactly what they were looking for, they contacted me to take a look at the cabinets in their newly purchased condo. They also wanted to have both the guest and downstairs master bathroom cabinets painted. All the cabinets were natural maple, and while they were in great shape, the couple loved the look of white cabinetry. We chose Benjamin Moore White Dove for the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. It's a soft white, not too bright and not too creamy. The black granite counter tops provided a dramatic contrast with the white cabinets. Because the downstairs bathroom had no windows, they chose a brighter white, Benjamin Moore Arcadia White.
They were so pleased with the outcome and gave us a rave review. Here is what they had to say:

" I just wanted to thank you again for the amazing job in our kitchen and bathrooms! We had friends over this weekend and they all could not believe the difference and thought it looked like a brand new, high end kitchen.
