The 31st Circuit Judicial Commission met today and conducted public interviews of nine applicants for the vacancy created by Judge Jason Brown taking the circuit bench. Following the interviews the Commission met to select a panel of three nominees to send to Governor Jay Nixon for his consideration. SMBA members Chantel Alberhasky and Judge Becky Borthwick and Judge Margaret Holden. Governor Nixon has 60 days to select his appointment.
