Lynn recently released her new CD titled "If We Only Have Love" on September 15, 2014.

Since enjoying these songs with her audiences and wonderful musicians over the last couple of years at the Metropolitan Room in New York City and all over CT, she has been encouraged to share them with a larger audience.

Laura Foulke is a singer, songwriter and visual artist who is currently in residence at Moscow 57. She has appeared at the Rodeo Bar, the Continental Divide, the Mercury Lounge, Arlene's Grocery, Angel Orensanz Foundation, Windows on the World, The Cutting Room, Life Caf?, Here, and a variety of other New York venues.

Known for his quirky writing and performances, singer/songwriter Peter Chance has been on New York's indie music scene for over twenty years. The singer/guitarist/harmonica player has played solo as well as with a myriad of band variations over the years.

Ms. Grace Garland is a triple-threat: Singer-Actress-Songwriter! (and author of the "funny/raunchy" self-help book "Loneliness Makes You Stupid!")

Grace uses her sexy, sultry voice to fuse jazz with a soup?on of  R&B flavor.
A new musical by Ethan Fein, Vladimir & Sybil Alexandrov, based on the biography by Vladimir Alexandrov.

The Bushwick Book Club meets every month and employs the delirious talents of local songwriters who plumb the depths and scrape the ends of a chosen literary gem to create that rare and beautiful thing - a new song. All songs are then displayed, spread wide, in one hour. It's an hour-long orgy of book-related songs and book-inspired food and drink. If that doesn't sound indulgent enough, I don't want to know you,

you sick, sick bastard.

Ellen Kaye, entertainer/entrepreneur and pianist/composer Jed Distler come together again after many years to share their deep and abiding love for the music of Tom Waits.

Jed Distler and Ellen Kaye's Tom Waits' history stretches back: when they first met at Sarah Lawrence College in 1979 they performed Grapefruit Moon together; in 1998, on the Coney Island records CD 2 AM, they recorded Eggs & Sausage and Muriel.

Over the years Distler and Kaye have taken their Tom Waits renditions from The Monkey Bar to the Algonquin to the Angry Squire and beyond. Now they are bringing them to Moscow 57 and to Cornelia Street Caf?.

Producer/entrepreneur Seth Goldman goes back to the Sarah Lawrence days with Ellen and Jed. "Long before it was fashionable,

Ellen was plumbing the depths of Waits's work and making the interpretations all her own." Goldman co-produced both 2 AM and Ellen's second CD, 3 AM...the dogs, the milkman and me, which includes Waits's Saving All My Love For You and Midnight Lullaby.

Guest musicians joining Ellen and Jed are Jordan Pettay on saxophone, accordionist Yuri Lemeshev, Benjamin Franklin Brown on bass and Art Lillard ondrums.

Join them and watch as this show evolves, while they explore new tunes and immerse themselves in their old favorites...as they get Drunk on the Moon and look deep into  The Heart of a Saturday Night .

A GREAT NEW MOVEMENT FROM UN WOMEN

When i was a boy

Cheryl Benton, founder of The Three Tomatoes and President of the NY Chapter of the US National Committee for UN Women, first saw Ellen performing  When I Was A Boy at The Metropolitan Room in Chelsea. Inspired by Ellen's performance, Cheryl invited her to perform at the 11th Annual UN Women Luncheon in March 2012.

Today, Ellen and Cheryl join forces once again in hopes of eliminating gender inequality once and for all.  They've decided to use the great Dar Williams tune When I Was A Boy to further awareness for the cause
 and spread the word!

BEN STROUSE
HEY BOY

HEY BOY-
When his parents tell him he isn't big enough to care for a shelter dog, a small boy begins his struggle to "grow up faster  than anybody!"

Over the years, as the boy learns to tie his shoes, to write homework, and to remember other people's birthdays. He  visits the shelter to spend time with his friend and dream about the future.

And in the end, his love blossoms into the strength and  courage he needs to redeem their years apart.

Bedtime stories come in all shapes and sizes, and in this one a child facing the challenge of growing up learns that love can be stronger than sadness, more enduring than time, and a key to happiness in an imperfect world.
Hey Boy by Ben Strouse & Jen Phelan.

GRA CE GARLAND -
Songwriter--Actress--Singer

Why did I write "Loneliness Makes You Stupid?" Maybe it was the 3a.m. wake-up call from one of my girlfriends hiding in her own bathroom, asking in a hushed tone , "What do I do with an uncircumcised penis?" Maybe it was the count-less and unbelievable love-tales of betrayal shared by females of all ages and ethnicity, while we dried our nails at a salon! Or... maybe... it was the boyfriend who never spent the night after you know what... because (and these were his exact words)... "I like to use my own toothbrush in the morning."...Read More>
