Board Basics for Non-Profits: Learning Event 2015 registration is now open!

 

Join other members of voluntary non-profit organization boards for Calgary's second annual one day board leadership learning event.  This event will feature a variety of engaging and informative basic level workshops that will focus on board governance fundamentals and best practices for the voluntary sector and provide helpful resources, new ideas, and networking opportunities. CommunityWise is one of the organizers of this event.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

 

Go to www.boardleadershipcalgary.ca for event details and schedule, workshop and speaker descriptions, and to register.  When you register, you will be required to select your concurrent workshops.  Workshop seating is limited, so register early to sign up for the topics that are right for you!  

 

Registration:  $75.00 (includes lunch and refreshments)

 

Bursaries:  A limited number of bursaries are available. The bursary covers 2/3 of the ticket price to offset the cost for those with very limited resources.  Maximum of two bursaries per organization.  To apply for a bursary, please email your name, organization, position and a paragraph explaining why you need a bursary and how it will benefit your organization to [email protected].  If you are approved, you will be given a promotional code to enter when you register.  DO NOT REGISTER for the event until you have received a response to your request.
