This summer, our co-founder and legendary dancer Anna Halprin will celebrate her 95th birthday! Organized by Tamalpa Institute, events commemorating her nine decades as a dancer are happening all over the world. Celebrations will include reenactments of Anna's renowned community performance works here in the US and in over 15 countries. Here at home, Tamalpa will celebrate her birthday on July 12th.

ANNA HALPRIN'S BIRTHDAY PERFORMANCE CELEBRATION

This event will include a solo piece by Anna Halprin, performances directed by Daria Halprin and guest artists, a gallery of Anna Halprin's work, live music, reception, and dancing. Limited VIP and General tickets $150/$95 will be available May 15th.

ANNA HALPRIN'S 35th ANNUAL PLANETARY DANCE

June 7th | Marin County, CA - This inspiring ritual of peace, healing, and community renewal will take place on Mount Tamalpais for the 35th consecutive year. People of all ages and abilities are welcome. For more information visit planetarydance.org.



JOURNEY IN SENSUALITY - ANNA HALPRIN AND RODIN (US Premier)

July 9th - 7pm | San Rafael, CA - Directed by Ruedi Gerber, this film brings new insight into Anna Halprin's influential artistic work, using the sculptures of Rodin as a container for visually stunning dances on the beach and the forests of California. (62 minutes). Watch trailer.
