It was a wonderful affair on May 20th at the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto as EnerQuality co-founder and shareholder, Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance, celebrated their 20th Anniversary with a tribute to industry champions Bruce Campbell, President and CEO of IESO, Allan Crandlemire, CEO of Efficiency Nova Scotia, and Carol Buckley, Former Director General of Energy Efficiency at NRCan. President Elizabeth McDonald provided a warm welcome to attendees who were instrumental in the success of energy efficiency, some from its earliest days, as she outlined CEEA's exciting plans for the future. This exciting event covered topics such as EnerGuide Updates from NRCAN, prefabricated insulated wall panels, construction research from Algonquin College, and a keynote speech from trend analyst Cheryl Grant.
A special thanks to two time EnerQuality Evaluator of the Year Ross Elliott, who provided an opportunity for attendees to get more information on the R-2000 program, which has renewed resonance as it pertains to Net Zero Energy, and to Natalie Armstrong from Enbridge Gas Distribution who, as a longstanding EnerQuality Partner, made opening remarks on our behalf.

Spring Training Camp Shines with Leading Building Scientists
EnerQuality attended the two day building science workshop at Hidden Valley Resort in Muskoka hosted by John Straube and EQ Hall of Fame Award recipients Tex McLeod and Gord Cooke. Sam Rashkin, whom some may recall from the EQ Housing Innovation Forum last February, kicked things off and took us all on an inspiring journey which ended at Net Zero Energy and the importance of effective marketing and sales. Presenters included Graham Finch of RDH Building Engineering, Chris Schumacher of Building Science Labs, and Dr. Chris Timusk of George Brown College. It was great to see many familiar faces, and some new ones, united in our common goal of advancing the industry.
It's not too late to register for tomorrow's EQ ENERGY STAR for New Homes Marketing & Selling workshop on June 2nd in Toronto, featuring Gord Cooke. Click HERE to register.
