Outdoor Warning Sirens, Road Closures

Outdoor Warning Sirens Test Today
The first test of our new outdoor warning sirens will be today at 1 p.m.! We have three warning sirens spaced throughout town, which is a vital tool in keeping our citizens aware and safe during times of severe weather or other emergency conditions. Testing will occur the first Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m., but will not occur on days when storms are present or forecast.

Upcoming Road Closures - Be Aware!
In Southlake: Florence Road at FM 1938 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, June 4) so crews can install pipe under the roadway.

In Westlake: Sam School Road will be closed beginning Monday, June 8, as work begins on reconstruction, realignment, and roundabout installation, at the intersection of Peytonville, Dove, and Sam School roads.

The entrance to Larry North Fitness will remain open during the project (with access from Solana Boulevard only), with expected completion within 120 days- weather permitting. A June construction date was chosen to minimize the inconvenience of residents and commuters during the school year.

Thank you for your patience as we improve the Town's infrastructure and mobility.  Questions? Concerns?  Contact Public Works Director Jarrod Greenwood for assistance.
