Help Provisions Fight Hunger In Our Community!

14.1% of our community is food insecure. The good news is you can help by Dining In or Dining Out at 54th Street Grill TOMORROW, June 18th, 2015. 15% of your check (minus alcohol) is donated by 54th Street back to Provisions. With each $1 dollar in donations, Provisions can purchase $7 dollars in food from our partner, The San Antonio Food Bank. If you are unable to attend this event, please feel free to donate through our website at http://provisionsoutreach.org . Ensure you take a hard copy of this flyer and present it to your server when paying your bill.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE BLOOD MOBILE EVENT AT THE LIBRARY

We need volunteers to serve lemonade and cookies to donors from a tent in the lower parking lot near the bloodmobile. We also need donations of cookies or other snacks.

We printed 220 of these last year and many of the attendees still have them! I think it is great inexpensive advertising.

ST. JUDE'S BACK PACK PROGRAM FOR 2015

Items and funds are being collected for the St. Jude's Back Pack Program.

You may deliver to the Chamber Office, bring to Chamber events or call Diane Roberts at (830) 980-5666 or (210) 213-4319 and she would be more then happy to come collect it. Items needed are all school supplies that would be for ages K-12. Any and all new items accepted.

If your business has coin purses, pencils, pens, cosmetics mirrors, pencil sacks, graph paper, spiral notebooks, crayons, markers, red pencils (we never can find enough) and lots of notebook paper. All are appreciated and go to a

child in St. Jude's Ranch for Children Home.

It is our goal to fill 40 back packs again this year as that is what the Ranch houses. It is always a good way to start the New Year off right with new items for each student.

Bless the Ranch for doing such a fabulous job with these kiddos. I can't even imagine trying to shop for 40 students to prepare them for a new school year.
