Join us to harvest, prep and can the farm tomatoes. You’ll leave with a jar of tomato goodness and the know-how to make more. For 14+ years old.

Canoe Float and Stream Science
Sunday, September 13; 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Embark on a leisurely, naturalist-led canoe paddle down the Maumee River. At our stop, Northwest Ohio Scenic Rivers Coordinator, Christina Kuchle will talk about the health of our scenic waterways and lead us in stream quality monitoring. A skills & safety session precedes the trip. Equipment is provided. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Dress for the weather and to get wet. Ribbons and prizes awarded to People's Choice (Facebook voting) and Judge's Award.
Photos must be taken at a Wood County Park District property or event. Photos of people must have their permission. • No obvious use of Photoshop will be accepted • No embedded names/credit on photos • Maximum four photo submissions per participant. • DEADLINE to submit photos is October 31, 2015. • Photos must be submitted in an electronic format and at least 2 mb file size.
The Wood County Park District reserves the right to use submitted photos for any purpose.
