On November 23rd, the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs celebrated its First Annual Man of the Year celebration.  The event recognized four outstanding men from local conservative synagogues.  Each was honored for their many accomplishments to the Jewish community.   We are so glad to highlight the following honorees!

 The State of World Jewry: Alan Dershowitz and Deborah Lipstadt with Jeff Greenfield

 

As conflicts in Israel and other areas of the world persist, new waves of anti-Semitism are being reported. 

 

What are the challenges and threats facing the Jewish people today? In the US, Europe, Israel, and elsewhere? Will anti-semitism ever be eradicated? Join outspoken law professor Alan Dershowitz and renowned historian Deborah Lipstadt as they discuss and debate many facets of this timely and important issue. 

 

Post conversation "The Take-Away" with Senior Rabbi Aaron D. Rubinger Deborah Lipstadt is the Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish and Holocaust Studies at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Alan M. Dershowitz is Brooklyn native who has been called "Israel's single most visible defender - the Jewish state's lead attorney in the court of public opinion." Jeff Greenfield, a veteran political, media and culture reporter and analyst, has spent more than thirty years on network television.
