Our Community Seder

Nearly 150 people came together to enjoy Temple B'nai Chaim's family oriented Community Seder on the second night of Passover. Led by Rabbi Bearman and Cantor Sobel, new and long-time congregants, prospective members and guests all participated by reading from a special Haggadah created by TBC members for the occasion. The Four Questions were asked by a large contingent of enthusiastic Hebrew school students. Guided by our Madrachim, the students were also active searchers for the seventeen afikomen that were hidden throughout the building.

And what would a seder be without traditional Passover songs .... and some unusual songs Cantor Sobel introduced - probably never heard at your seder table. You had to be there. Of course there was a delicious Pesach meal...starting with some favorite appetizers made by our congregants, followed by a catered buffet dinner and dessert. The entire evening was a joyful and meaningful experience. We all owe a debt of gratitude to the many TBC members who worked diligently to make this a success. We hope it will become a TBC tradition.

Celebrate Cantor Sobel's 25 Years

In the next few weeks we will kick off our Annual Fund Raiser which will culminate in a Shabbat Celebration and Special Oneg to celebrate TBC's history and Cantor Sobel's 25 years at TBC. We have so much to celebrate and will be reaching out to everyone to participate in some way. Please save the date, June 5th
, to attend a very special service and event and begin thinking about the many ways you can contribute to our Annual Fund Raiser in Cantor Sobel's honor.
