Reasons to Become a Member of the Arc Carroll County

By Charles Rachel

By becoming a new or sustaining member of the Arc Carroll County, you are helping to ensure that we can continue to provide the great programs and services our families and staff has come to know, love, and expect from the Arc.

I have been a client at the Arc Carroll County since October of 1997. I enjoy the social interaction with friends and co-workers.

Some of the clients even have jobs in the community, while others participate in other fun activities in the community.

Without your support, many of the people we serve would be stuck at home and would not feel like an important part of their communities. We greatly appreciate the support that our community can give. Please visit us online at www.arccarroll.com for more information and join today!

Charles Rachel has been coming to The Arc for many years. For the last two years, he has written a feature for our newsletter. Charles also serves on our board. We are glad to have Charles back!

      Health & Wellness

Please join us at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 28th, at The Arc for a very important conversation on health and wellness for our loved ones with special needs.

Dr. Cynthia Roldan of Carroll Hospital has agreed to give us an hour of her time to discuss what will happen as our loved ones with special needs age.

The average age of the individuals in our day program is now 43, making this topic particularly relevant as the individuals at The Arc age. Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot for this free seminar.

RSVP to Sharon Smith at [email protected] or 410-848-4124 ext. 146.
