Hello Point Parents,

Thank you to all of the middle school parents and students who attended family night! We enjoy partnering with our parents to make sure our students are phenomenal!

Kindergarten Fair

Bring an upcoming Kindergartener to experience The Point and enroll on March 28th from 10am - 12pm. Please contact the front office at 336-884-0131 if you have any questions.


Uniform

We are finally getting some warmer weather! Students may wear khaki or navy shorts or skirts on warmer days. We only wear jeans on Fridays with our Point t-shirts. All students must wear black and white dress attire on Wednesdays. Thank you for making sure our students are On Point every day!

2015-2016 Enrollment
We would love to educate your child another year. Returning students must complete an intent form notifying us that you will be returning to The Point next school year. The last day to reserve your child's seat is Wednesday, March 25th.
Bus Safety

Please be mindful of our school buses. Cars should not pass buses while they are loading and unloading students at the school. The area will be closed off with cones while buses are on school grounds. Thank you for helping to keep our students safe.

 

Math Projects

 

This quarter each student will be working on a math project! Projects are due April 15th. Project packets and information will be sent home in your child's folder this week. If you have any questions about your child's project please contact their math teacher for more information.

Yearbooks are on sale now for just $20! Register for a free account with Treering and customize two free pages for your child. Customization is easy! Teacher Highlight

Mrs. Flack  

 

Mrs. Flack has been working as an academic and culture coach to help our Middle School Team and students be phenomenal. She brings with her years of experience in education, ministry, and corporate America. We have recently settled her in the Middle School Division. Since that time, she has been very instrumental in helping students and teachers have more time for academics and less time for distractions. Welcome Mrs. Flack!

Science Camp

 Our 5th-7th grade students will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills in science and prepare for EOG testing! The Point is hosting a science camp on Saturdays from April 18th - May 16th from 9-12pm. Forms will be sent home with students to sign up for our science camp.

 


Royal Sports  


 

We are excited that it is Track Season at The Point! We believe that this is a great opportunity for our scholars to build character, leadership and condition their bodies for other athletic opportunities in the future. Practice will be Monday - Friday from 3:00 - 4:30. Please join the us at High Point Athletic Complex on 2920 School Park Road as we cheer on our track team at their next meet on April 15th at 4pm.


 

Health Education

Our middle school males have started a reproductive system class this month. Our students are learning about healthy choices, hygiene care, physical and emotional changes, the reproductive system and more. The study of the reproductive system is a required state curriculum for 7th grade.
