March - Consider gratitude as a key to LUCK in life
It's been said that "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity."(Seneca). And that is certainly true. Yet, I believe it to be more than that. When we purposefully practice an attitude of gratitude, not only do we become much happier, but "Luck" will also present itself. A positive attitude attracts positivity from others...and those who surround us are more willing to present us with opportunity.

Let's face it, grumbling about a problem or a relationship in which you feel you've been wronged comes naturally to most of us. And yet, when we verbalize these feelings the satisfaction of it is short-lived and we tend to alienate those who hear us.

Try writing down 5 things daily that you are grateful for. Not only will your own heart be changed but your relationships will be forever strengthened as you lead others by example.

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 107:1.

It's no news that the Austin Real Estate market is HOT! So it always surprises me to learn that many buyers don't understand the importance of getting pre-approved or the difference between pre-qualification and pre-approval. Anybody can get pre-qualified for a loan. Getting pre-approved means a lender has looked at all of your financial information, they've let you know how much you can afford & how much they will lend you. This saves you time, energy and a lot of grief. What good is it to fall in love with a property that you simply can't afford?
