Hey Everyone!! How was your week?? How was your long weekend? Mine was full of FUN, FAMILY, FOOD and RACES...of course :)

Did my first OWS (Open Water Swim) of the season, 2.5 miles in 59 degree water, no wetsuit. Felt strong and fast!! Unfortunately I got the same time as last year (BOO) but felt great!! And was the fastest in my division (old people dumb enough to go without a wetsuit).

Then ran a HARD marathon Monday in Vail...lots of hills...high elevation...had a blast...4th female...time was 4:03...SUPER happy with that!

My life ROCKS!!

Hope you are having an amazing week! Happy Hump Day!

See you next week!!
Kirsten :)

My Favorite Salad Ingredients...

Basically my expert salad making advice (I have been a vegetarian for 34 years) is to buy ingredients you like and mix them together.

Workout of the Week...Core

Each week I will feature a swim, bike, run, strength, core, or flexibility workout.

I used to teach a 30 minute core class 5 days a week and had several clients who oculd only come 1-2 times a week, so I decided to make a series of videos they could do at home on the days they couldn't get to the gym.

I made a beginning, intermediate, and advanced video.

Here is the INTRO to the videos...

And here is the beginner workout...

My Journey for Progress...

I am finally seeing the pay-off from the efforts I have put into to my personal growth, my self-care, learning about my relationship with food, and working toward living a life I love.

I KNOW many of you can relate to my journey with emotional over-eating, self-loathing, and negative self-talk.
