Jim found this coffee in 2012 while visiting the FIECH Cooperative in Mexico.  It has since become a customer favorite too.  It is sweet, like honey, has the stone fruit flavors of peach and apricot and a roasted hazelnut finish.  Go ahead, try it!  It is sure to become one of your favorites too!

Chatham Street Blend

Another favorite, especially by the locals.  Many of our local customers first tried the Chatham Street Blend at the Chatham Street Cafe.  The restaurant closed and we tried retiring the coffee.  The coffee was so popular that our local customers begged us to keep it.  This coffee is full bodied, with a big, earthy flavor profile. Hints of tobacco, dusky leather, and chocolate, with subtle spices and sweetness reminiscent of root beer. Smokey roast flavors in the finish.

Happy Thursday!

With Mother Nature keeping much of the country under a cold, snowy spell, we have been going through the coffee much quicker than usual.  We have received many phone calls asking where such and such a coffee is.  If it is not on the website, we are stocked out.  This weekend, Jim and Debbie plan on closely going through the inventory and figuring out what we need.  New crops will soon be coming into season, so we will have to check with our importer to see what is available.  What does all of this mean for you?  We should have new inventory in stock towards the end of spring or early summer.  Keep reading the newsletter to see when the new coffee has arrived.

Next week could turn into an unusual week at the roastery.  Jim is having hernia surgery on Wednesday, with an overnight stay at the hospital.  Meaning, that we may have to adjust our shop hours on Thursday- Saturday next week.  With some extra help from family, we are hoping to keep normal business hours.  If not, we'll let you know.  To our website customers:  there may be a slight delay shipping your coffee if we have to close the roastery.  Thank you, in advance, for understanding!

Have a great weekend,

Jim and Debbie
