Taking the Next Step: Bringing Together Social-Emotional Learning and Culturally Responsive Instruction in Teacher Preparation

Homeless Youth: Challenges and Solutions
This is the first of 3 spring workshops from the Children's Agenda. Youth homelessness is a growing concern in our community and nationwide. This interactive workshop will bring together community experts on family and child homelessness and will focus on developing local strategies to address this issue. 2nd Annual Northern California PBIS/School Climate Symposium
The theme for this year's symposium is "Aligning Efforts to Create a Sustainable Positive School Climate." Keynote Speaker, Kent McIntosh, Ph.D., Associate Professor at the University of Oregon's College of Education, will speak about "Sustaining PBIS and Other School Climate Efforts Through the Seas of Change." Workshops include PBIS Tier 1, 2, 3; PBIS Coaching; Cultural Responsiveness and School Climate; Bullying Prevention; Restorative Practices; Social Emotional Learning; and Mental Health.
