Parents,
As a reminder, you can visit with
Mr. Peter Harding, one of our Head of School candidates,
tomorrow from 8:30-9:15 a.m. in the Fortune Room.
Last Friday we were fortunate to have Mr. Casey Cronin, former SRES parent, take pictures of our students in action. While we formulated a plan for the photos, we asked the teachers to notify of us of happenings in their classrooms. The following teachers' responses perfectly capture life at SRES on any given day:
- Grade 5 students will be rehearsing for their upcoming musical production of Annie
- Grade 2 and PK buddies will be reading together
- Grade 1 students will be creating and flying paper airplanes as part of their flight unit
- Grade 4 students will be observing and identifying salt crystals in the lab
- Grade 3 students will be observing and testing drops of water on a slope
- Early Childhood students will be playing with parachutes in PE
- Algebra students will be beginning a unit on solving systems of equations, a critical algebra skill, using a visual strategy and a logarithm
Enjoy the upcoming longer weekend with your children!
