How easy it is, the more education we have, the more life experiences we have, the older we get,  to believe we have all of the answers.
 

We watch the news channel that tends to have our point of view, listen to the talk radio show that justifies our position, only read books we agree with and go to a church whose teachings we totally agree with.

The reality is that none of us is always right or knows it all.  We need to understand that others have ideas too.  We need to hear them and understand them.  That doesn't necessarily need we need to agree with them.  How much easier it is to communicate with someone and get things done when we understand what that person is thinking and why.
