Joyous Baptism of Robert Johnston Sunday Morning
Our Savior Christ left us a great Sacrament of Baptism, and when someone is baptized, the church is more than just a witness. We enter into the rite by making promises to support and uphold those who are baptized in our midst.

On Sunday, precious Robert Johnston will be baptized, the son of Jennifer and Travis Johnston.  We have all ooohd and ahhd over him, and now, it is time to promise to uphold him in Christian Baptism and love, along with his parents and other family. Be sure to plan to be present for this most joyous occasion, After the service the family will have fajitas in the Parish Hall, and everyone is invited.

ECW Meeting Saturday April 11th

Now that all the Easter eggs have been found and the chocolate bunnies have disappeared, one way or the other, please join us this Saturday morning at 10am in the Parish Hall.

Tina Prikryl will speak on how the organization "Drive a Senior" is making a difference in the lives of many senior citizens. Tina is executive director of Drive a Senior.

The program will last about an hour. During the second hour, all hands are needed to spruce up the Youth Building, which is in need of a good spring cleaning.  ECW members will also vote on the slate of new officers for 2015-16.

Lana Beyer will provide the Meditation Moment, and Noreen McMahan and Lana will provide light refreshments.
Open Thrift Shop and Craft Night Next Tuesday

Next Tuesday, April 14th is shopping and crafting night at the Thrift Shop. We'll be knitting and doing general crafting, so come on over and join us. Beginners to experienced knitters are welcome. Remember the 1/2 price sale on all clothing and shoes is still on too, so it's a great time to shop. 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
Our thanks to the Joe Page Family, and grandchildren for subbing for the Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday morning for the Easter Egg Hunt. Due to the threat of rain, hiding the eggs indoors had to be done quickly, and their help saved the day. Thanks so much!

News from the Atrium

Dear all,

Happy Easter  What a joyful Easter Sunday we had.  Christ is risen indeed. Alleluia!  The children all seemed so tuned in to His joy and light.  That was evident in their artwork that morning, and in the reverence they had during the candlelit procession we did through the narthex.

Maria and I are headed to a girl scout campout this coming weekend, so the atrium will not be open this Sunday.  Another reason:  the space is getting prepped for a nice new paint job, and new shelving, within the next couple of weeks, God willing.

Thanks be to God for Tom Wilson, a fellow parishioner and handyman, who has offered to tithe his services to our atrium for its painting needs.
His company is "A Man Handyman", if you have any further handyman needs. :) His contact information is in our directory.

Thank you, Tom!

Please pray for: restored health for little Claire, Margaret and Henry; and for Maria and Mother Kelly traveling, and for all the scouts meeting this weekend.

Peace all,
Kelly
