Palm Sunday Brings Spiritual Traditions
The Entry into Jerusalem and the Passover Meal
This Sunday we commemorate the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. St. Augustine's will distribute palm branches and we will hail the King as we enter to worship. After the service, we will share a Christian version of the Seder meal.

St. Augustine's will have several services during Holy Week in Room 215, our regular meeting place.

Foot Washing on Maundy Thursday Four volunteers will have their feet washed on Maundy Thursday at the 7:00 service. In the years ahead, we hope that all members will participate in this sacred act that Jesus modeled for his disciples.
One of the most powerful and least familiar services in Holy Week is the Easter Vigil. On Saturday, April 4th at sunset (8:00pm), we will burn the palms from last Easter and light the Pascal Candle with the new fire. We will renew our baptismal vows in this sacred service as we prepare for Easter and the resurrection of our Lord.
The Men's Group meets on Monday, April 30th, at 7:00pm. Contact Fr. Ric with questions.
Bishop Roger Ames will make his annual visit to St. Augustine's on
Sunday, April 26th. Make plans to be part of this uplifting and blessed event in the life of our parish.
