Dear FJG Family,
June 1 marks the end of the corporate office's first United Way giving campaign. We're still tallying up the total donated, but the most impressive part of our campaign was the number of people that chose to participate. Our employees' generosity is going to go a long way to helping provide meals for the elderly, coats and after school programs for kids, and services for disabled veterans in our community. It's important to share our good fortune with others no matter how we give - of our time, our talent or our treasure. It's the selfless act of giving that counts. As our company continues to expand, we plan to keep our giving growing, and this United Way campaign was just the first step. The first United Way campaign at our Hampton Roads and Peninsula properties will begin in August - stay tuned for more information.

Patriotic Festival 2015
The Patriotic Festival is a wonderful event that brings everyone together to take the time to honor the brave men and women who serve our country. During this time, we sincerely want to thank all of our military members, and honor those who have paid the ultimate price to allow us to have our freedom.

United Way Campaign
TFJG team members had the opportunity to participate in fun events to help make extra change for the United Way. The first event started on Cinco De Mayo. The team gathered in the break room to have the first "TFJG Guac Off" (Guacamole Competition). After several scoops in each of the Guac's, we are proud to announce, that the winner of the Guac Off is Theresa Cummings!
The following week, Pete Sheeran organized "Taco Tuesday". TFJG truly enjoyed a bite of his "famous" fish tacos with lettuce, cheese, salsa, and Theresa's award winning Guac!
TFJG took a bigger dip towards the United Way. The third Tuesday of the month, team members participated in a "Dip Off". Coming in hot with Super Bowl-Ready Sausage Dip, Spinach Dip, Pepperoni Dip, Buffalo Dip, Pineapple Dip, Veggie Dip, Toffee Dip, Fiesta Dip, and Apple Dip. Congratulations to the winner, Gloria Harrison with the delicious Super Bowl-Ready Sausage Dip!  |

The Annual Don Ritenour Charity Golf Classic
The rain did not stop TFJG to play in The Annual Don Ritenour Charity Golf Classic. Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) has sponsored the Golf Classic since 1993. The proceeds of this event are awarded to select homeless shelters and service providers of Virginia. VHDA has donated over $1.7 million to over 70 homeless shelters and Habitat for Humanity houses.

State of the City - Suffolk
TFJG team members attended the Suffolk State of the City. Mayor Linda Johnson said, "We know that the plans, investments, and decisions we make today will define what we look like in the next 25 years". Every day we are taking a step to building our tomorrow. Suffolk is planning new retail on its way North Suffolk's Harbour View area. Terry-Peterson Cos., the developer of the $20 million project is estimating it to be open by late spring or early summer of 2016.

 The Pointe at Pickett Farms in Norfolk, VA has officially opened Phase II of the community. This community offers spacious one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes.
