¡Quiero reportar con emoción que el día en el jardín ha sido un éxito rotundo!

 Los voluntarios se reunieron el sabado a para sacar la maleza, limpiar los caminos, sacar la basura, embellecer el jardín, limpiar el estanque y hacer del jardín un lugar mas y seguro y más bello para la comunidad de DCB. 

Estamos increíblemente agradecidos con City Blossoms por organizar y manejar este súper evento. 

Mas de 30 voluntarios vinieron a darnos una mano, incluyendo a miembros de la junta directiva de DCB, personal y familias, miembros de la comunidad, y personal del Banco Interamericano de desarrollo.

 ¡Muchas gracias a todos nuestros voluntarios!  Sin su presencia y su trabajo duro, este día no habría sido exitoso. 

 

I'm thrilled to report that DCB's Day at the Garden was a smashing success!  

 

Volunteers met on Saturday to pull weeds, clear paths, remove trash, landscape, clean the pond, and make the garden a safer and more beautiful space for the DCB community. 

 

We are incredibly appreciative of City Blossoms for organizing and hosting this superb event.

 

More than 30 volunteers came to lend a hand, including members of the DCB Board of Directors, staff and family, community members, and staff from the Inter-American Development Bank.  

 

Many thanks to all our volunteers!  Without your presence and hard work, this day would not have been a success.

 

Our garden is looking beautiful but there is much more to be done!  

 

DCB and City Blossoms are hosting another Day at the Garden on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 9am.     

We can't wait to see you there!
