On Friday, May 23, Mayor Rick Kriseman and the City of St. Petersburg dedicated a refurbished Mirror Lake Park. Later that day, Mayor Kriseman cut the ribbon at LumaStream's new headquarters in downtown St. Petersburg. LumaStream develops and manufactures breakthrough products for digital power conversion, control, and distribution.

Taqueria mania, Roux's New Orleans fixin's and more

 

A little past 8 p.m. on Friday, May 23, the single-file line out Casita Taqueria's new doors remained lengthy, even as its grand reopening celebration in St. Pete's Grand Central District was beginning to wind down.

 

The droves of dedicated diners kept this taco stalwart and her pals from noshing on our preferred Casita bowls that evening. The restaurant was slammed.
