Presenting on “ The Impact of Bullying on Today's Youth"
Course Abstract:
I will conduct a presentation regarding bullying. Thorughout my presentation there will be discussion of bullying and its definition, the forms it takes, who it impacts, and what are some possible outcomes and indicated statistics of those outcomes. I will touch on methods of recognizing when bullying is present in social settings, and reading non-verbal cues of bullying victims. I will discuss interventions and personal stories.
Course Objectives:
- Participants will understand the definition of bullying and the forms it can take.
- Participants will be able to identify myths and misconceptions about bullying vs. the facts.
- Participants will understand ways to intervene in or help prevent bullying from shaping teens lives.
