Team Feature: Team Ox
|
|
Larry Oxman, captain of top friends and family team Team Ox, attributes his success to 'persistence.' Larry is persistent
when asking for donations and recruiting and engaging team members.
Each year, Larry provides team members with a new, free Team Ox jersey to entice them to join and advertise the team. But he doesn't stop there - once members are registered, Larry keeps them motivated through activities and frequent communication.
Even with nearly 60
team members, Larry knows almost everyone on his team through year-round team activities and fundraisers, with 40% of members riding together regularly.
In addition to Larry's weekly 'team email'
detailing the week's upcoming team activities, Team Ox utilizes their Facebook group as an interactive platform to share information. The time and dedication Larry puts into engaging his team members builds Team Ox's momentum and excitement each year.

How Your Fundraising Helps

The funds you raise through Bike MS help researchers find answers for people living with progressive MS, the most aggressive form of the disease.
The MS Society recently hosted a live webcast highlighting advancements in progressive MS research and treatment, including studies on myelin repair, wellness and vitamin D.
This incredible progress is made possible through the contributions of valued supporters like you. To learn more, watch a free recording of the webcast or download a transcript.
