Another Successful Dinner Auction
in the Books...Thank You!

RideAble would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved with our spring dinner auction fundraiser in March. This includes the many volunteers who donated time and effort in the planning and execution of this event as well as community members who donated auction items, and everyone who attended.

We're happy to report that we raised $11,500, including $2,380 for tuition assistance! Although the list is too long to name everyone who helped pull off this event, we owe a huge thank you to Becky and Matt Hope who were the event committee chairs/organizers, Alisa Giulietti for procurement of auction items, and Kelly Perron, LTD, and Samantha Ross for poster design and printing.

The dinner auction is one of RideAble's biggest fundraisers of the year and although successful, it's just a small part of our important efforts to raise the money necessary to support our great mission. Please contact us if you have suggestions for future fundraisers, business contacts who may want to sponsor us, or ideas for grant opportunities as we'll be stepping up these efforts in the near future. See also our upcoming events for ways you can help us celebrate our 20th anniversary year.

Again, THANK YOU! We couldn't do it without you.

Annual Board Meeting Recap & Upcoming Transition: Your Input is Critical
RideAble's annual public board meeting was held April 9, 2015. A summary of our previous fiscal year (March 2014-February 2015) was presented and minutes of the meeting will soon be available for review on our website. In summary, RideAble had a net loss of $13,000 for the fiscal year. This was the third consecutive year, and fourth of the past five, that RideAble has operated at a financial loss.

Program Director and Senior Instructor Monica Liles and her husband Russell will retire from RideAble at the end of August 2016. The loss of these major long-time benefactors/supporters of RideAble will be a huge transition. RideAble needs your support now to help guide the future of this program. Please consider joining RideAble's Board of Directors and lending your voice, talents, and ideas to the process. We need your input!
