We have enjoyed a wonderful summer implementing our expanded services of dental, behavioral health, and soon in-house vision exams! Thank you for the tremendous support
received by the community for the dollar-for-dollar matching gift campaign that successfully completed on April 30th.
With the support of the
Summertime Foundation matching grant campaign, $100,000 was raised that allowed OAFC to successfully expand our space and services to meet the need of our community. Thank you! Thank you!
The patients have shared many testimonials of their compassionate care that we are excited to share with everyone at the 3rd Annual Birthday Dinner and Gala this coming December 4th. The photo and video testimonials in development are heartfelt and touching. Here is just one that was produced by Aurora Health Care as OAFC was a grant recipient in 2015 to integrate behavioral health and primary care.

Aurora Better Together Fund - OAFC 2015 |
Since our doors opened on November 7, 2012, we have enrolled over 1,200 patients into care at OAFC. Over 100 patient visits completed each month that included doctor appointments, labs, dispensing medications, and specialty services such as ultrasound testing, ECHO testing, orthopedic and cardiology visits. The volunteers have donated over 6,500 hours that valued over $185,000. Additionally, since the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA/ObamaCare), OAFC volunteers have helped transition close to 300 patients onto affordable health insurance programs. Whether for a short time or for long term care, OAFC has been a
vital access point in the community for vulnerable populations by connecting those in need with those who can help. We are grateful for the high caliber talent, service partners, and supporting donations to make it all possible.
We depend on businesses and service groups to help raise funds for Open Arms Free Clinic to ensure medicines, lab tests, and medical supplies are available for our patients. We are deeply grateful for these events happening this fall (see in this newsletter). Please consider participating and supporting the clinic.
As of April 1, 2015 our new address is 205 East Commerce Court, Elkhorn, WI, 53121.
Donations made by mail may be addressed to:
Open Arms Free Clinic, PO Box 678, Elkhorn, WI 53121.
Thank you in advance for believing in our mission. We appreciate you!
Many helping hands are making this transition possible and many more are needed.
