As I was driving Becca to school this morning I noticed how all the rain we've had has made everything so green.  It is just a beautiful time of year.  We are blessed to live in Miami!

Brian Roberts, INTEGRIS Heath, gave some great ideas to help reduce Workers' Comp Expense, and Dr. Mark Osborn also shared information about INTEGRIS's Occupation Medicine program.  If you need employment drug screens, medical evaluations, and more, they are here to help.  Contact Tara Oelke at 918-540-7103 for more details.

Mark your calendars for the GAR Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony.  They will be honoring our veterans past and present on Monday, May 25 at 9am.

If you haven't stopped by the Miami Public Library, you'll want to soon.  They have a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian, "Hometown Teams, How Sports Shape America".

We are so fortunate to have this in our community, please take advantage of it.

Have a great week!

Michele

Capitol Greetings
5-8-15

Budget time is upon us. It is time to find out who the winners and losers are going to be. Oops, I mean who (which agencies and programs and the people they serve) will be the losers and who (which agencies and programs and the people they serve) will be destroyed. The only winners in all of this are the shareholders of the oil companies and other large corporations and the wealthiest Oklahomans that are all receiving the largess of Oklahoma's tax breaks and tax incentives.
