We will be using the Shindig platform, which will allow us to have an active video discussion with small breakout groups. To participate in the discussion, you will need

  • a laptop or desktop computer; please note that Shindig will generally only work on computers, it will not work on most tablets or smart phones. 
  • a video camera and microphone on your computer. If you do not have a video camera and microphone, you can still attend and listen.
  • a high speed internet connection (if you share a home connection with family members, perhaps they can let you use the entire bandwidth for the hour
  • a headset is highly recommended
