Ang Frank Exhibits Artwork @ Library in March

Staff member Ang Frank will exhibit her artwork at the Bay County Public Library through the month of March.

The higher you go, the more mistakes you are allowed. Right at the top, if you make enough of them, it's considered to be your style. -- Fred Astaire

Living by this philosophy, Ang Frank has been making wonderful mistakes since a young age. Artistic endeavors of many genres have been a passion of Ang's her entire life.

Raised in Detroit, Ang travels the country with her husband peddling her art from state to state and befriending locals. Her preferred style is realism, but she does experiment in surrealism and abstract on occasion.

Ang regularly creates privately commissioned photo-realistic portraits and color-inspired portrayals of both humans and animals. Her favorite subjects are man's best friends -- dogs.

Currently, albeit slowly, she is pursuing a Master's Degree in Fine Arts.

If you would like to see more of Ang Frank's art, visit the library throughout the month of March, visit her website at behance.net/AngsArt, or contact her at [email protected]

Read Across America Day in Wewa

March 2, 2015 is the National Education Association's Read Across America Day and this year the book chosen is the Dr. Seuss classic

Oh, the Places You'll Go!

In recognition of this event, and to help make this day truly "Seussational," the GFWC Wewahitchka Woman's Club donated copies of this book to the Charles Whitehead Public Library in Wewahitchka.

Oh, the Places You'll Go  is a book written and illustrated by Dr. Seuss, and concerns the journey of life and its challenges. It is perhaps best known for the line, "Will you succeed? Yes, you will indeed!" and the creative wording, "Simple, it's not, I'm afraid you will find, for a mind maker-upper to make up his mind."
