The smartest and most thoughtful rabbis and Jewish scholars from America travel to the Hartman Institute to advance their thinking. Using Jewish study and informed introspection they consider the questions that will determine our future? What should a Jewish state mean? What values does it profess? To survive do we have to destroy ourselves?

Jews no longer live in isolation. Our ideas, our texts, our behaviors are observed and studied, critiqued and copied, admired and challenged by others outside our own community. We are now aware that others build their cultures off of the same narratives we do.

Now at the Hartman Institute scholars from different religions, particularly Islam and Christianity study together. How do our narratives look to other people? What do we share in our reading of the same narrative? What is different?

On Thursday evening, Friday evening and Shabbat day, Donniel Hartman will bring the best of these efforts to share with us. In this way, it's a lot more easier than studying at the Hartman Institute.

If you regularly study with Hartman scholars, join us for this new material. If you never have before, it will be a great experience or the beginning of long term learning and understanding. Of course, bring any and all of your friends to these exciting programs.
