Economic development info for Tiffin and Seneca County, Ohio
Issue 10 - March 2015
Commentary
Nationally ranked...again
This month brought the great news that Tiffin and Seneca County were nationally ranked for the fourth year in a row by Site Selection magazine, ranking 42nd on the list of US micropolitans (top 10%.) We'll be receiving the award on March 19.
There are 536 such communities in the US, and projects like the expansions of National Machinery, American Fine Sinter, Webster Industries, and Irving Equipment were larger projects that made the list, representing 120+ new jobs and $30M+ in new investment. Sandusky, Van Wert, Findlay, and Toledo were also recognized. We received a lot of positive press from this, including WTOL TV coverage and a great write-up in the Advertiser-Tribune, the Review Times, and other papers.
Congrats to our great companies,
