Life on Fire Spotlight

Janie Perez Diaz

Get to know Janie:
- Kissimmee Spanish:
      Pathfinder SubDirector
      Adventist Youth Associate Director
      Young Adult Sabbath School Teacher
- I enjoy going to theme parks with my husband;  nature hikes;  playing with my dogs;  learning and practicing American Sign Language;   and spending time with my family.
- To me, a Life on Fire means giving all for Jesus, even when we have nothing left to give.  I have seen God work in my life, time and time again, and every single time, God has waited until I stopped fighting my own battle, and turned it over to Him.  I feel God does this, because it

Janie Perez Diaz
allows me to just be able to stand in awe of Him.  It is at that point that I can take NO credit for the miracles He does for me;  and I am 100% sure that it is in His hand intervening for me.  It is at my weakest when He is strong.  So although many days I feel that I cannot take one more thing, God allows it to come, so that I can let go and let God.  Being still has always been a challenge for me, because I am a doer.  But I know that God is teaching me and growing me through the people around me, and the ministries that He has given me the opportunity to be a part of.
- But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."   Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.  - 2 Corinthians 12:9  NIV
