Register today for the Grand Review Parade Weekend.  To march in the parade is just $25 until March 1, 2015.  The Parade Marching fee will increase to $35 after March 1st.  

 

All workshops, the Camp Barker experience and interpretive programs are free with registration.

Things to Remember:

 

1. All parade marchers must march in Civil War period dress.  If you do not have a uniform or period clothing please check out the FAQ on the grand review website for possible vendors. Click Here

 

2. All marchers must register in advance of the parade by May 1, 2015 there will be no registration on site. Click Here to register today.

 

3. All military reenactors must wear Federal uniform. 

 

4. Those marching in the parade may carry Muskets and bayonets but no rim or center fire weapons are permitted.  

 

5.  All weapons must be inspected, so marchers should plan to arrive at RFK Stadium by 7am on Sunday, May 17th. There will be shuttle busses to carry all marchers to the rally point.

 

6. Civilians in period clothing will not march in formation with military reenactors, but will be organized to march at the end of the parade.  Uniformed descendants may however, march with the civilian reenactors if they choose to.

 

7. The parade route will begin at 3rd and Pennsylvania Ave NW and proceed along Pennsylvania Ave to 13th street.  The total parade route is approximately one mile.

 

8. When registering to march online press submit once after completing your application.  Please do not press submit more than once.  If you are unsure if you application went through please feel free to call the museum at 202-667-2667.
