REMINDER: DBH Masterworks Exhibition Submissions Due March 6, 2015

The Biggs Museum is currently accepting applications for the 2015 Masterworks Competition and Exhibition. All Delaware By Hand (DBH) Artist members of the Biggs Museum are encouraged to send in application materials by March 6, 2015 to be vetted for inclusion in this important public exhibition. The "Masters" competition will be overseen by a juror from outside the DBH/Biggs Museum organization. This year, the 2015 winning members will be selected by Brandi P. Clark, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. The chosen art objects will be on view at the Biggs Museum from April 3 - June 14, 2015. The winning selection is also eligible for Museum's $1,500 purchase prize.

Senator Carper's Office: Call to Artists

The Staff of Senator Tom Carper have invited members of Delaware By Hand to submit proposals for wall-hung artworks to be on display within the Senator's Wilmington offices for two years. This auspicious opportunity will be marked by coverage in the museum's Museletter, press releases, objects signage within the Senator's offices and, of course, bragging rights. Artist Entry Fee: $100 ($125 for select premium spaces)

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Artist Entry Fee: $100 ($125 for select premium spaces)
6 premium spaces available at museum's entrance at $125 each
24 spaces available at $100 each

Must be a current DBH artist member to participate. To reserve your space, email Ryan Grover at [email protected]. Checks can be made out to BMAA and mailed to Biggs Museum at PO Box 711 Dover, DE 19901. Pay via credit card by calling (302) 674-2111. Spaces are limited and reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
