Mortgage Pay-off Celebration this Sunday - All Worship Services!

Sermon: Pastor LeeAnn
No Fear New Year: "Fear No Evil - Take Comfort and Strength in God"

Scripture: Psalm 23

The world is a scary place, and our journey through it can be confusing and uncertain.  But we are reminded by one of our most beautiful and comforting scriptures, Psalm 23, that God is with us at every step.  These verses unflinchingly acknowledge the intimidations of life, but rest in the reality of the power and mercy of a God who cares for us.  And what better day to celebrate our long (and sometimes arduous) journey of paying off the mortgage on our church building!  An inspiring example of a faith-powered journey.

Mortgage Payoff Celebration - January 25

By God's Grace and after many years of hard work and dedication, this momentous occasion has finally arrived.  We have paid off our church mortgage!  We will be celebrating on Sunday, January 25th during all worship services with a symbolic mortgage shredding ceremony.  We look forward to enjoying each other's company and sharing stories of the many years of ministry and fellowship that have taken place here at Peace.  Monies that were previously used to pay the mortgage will now be designated for S.O.M (Sustaining Our Mission) building repairs and upgrades and support for our ongoing mission and ministry!  Thanks be to God!

We'll be celebrating on the Portico between services.  Please bring your favorite sweet or savory finger food!
