How to Sign up for Programs:
1) Fill out forms
2) Email forms to programs@parasports.net
3) Pay fees by sending it to the office:
        a) Cheque made out to Paralympic Sports Association
        b) Cash
        c) Email Money transfer (email ed@parasports.net)

SwimmingSWIM
Learn to improve your swimming skills with instructors while working with the group to provide individualized instruction. Swimmers are further paired up with trained volunteers to offer one-on-one assistance (when possible) in addition to the instruction.
 
Fall/ Winter Program
Who: Anyone of any age (Under 14-Novice), (14+-Intermediate), any ability welcome
Time:  Novice 2:00-3:00 pm
    Intermediate 3:00-4:00 pm
When: Saturdays
Where: Don Wheaton Family YMCA pool (10211 102 Ave, Edmonton)

Dates:   September 19- December 12, excluding October 10
January 9- April 9, excluding February 13 and March 26
Fee: $120.00 or 6 bingo

Wheelchair Floor HockeyFloorhockey
Build skills in stick handling, passing and shooting as well as game skills and strategies. Athletes who use an electric or manual wheelchair are welcome. 

Who: Adults 18+, ambulatory, powerchair and manual chair users 
Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm
When: Mondays
Where: ACT Centre Gym (2909 113 Ave, Edmonton)

Dates: September 14 - December 14, 2015 (excluding Oct. 12)
     January 5 - May 16, 2015 (excluding Feb.15 & March 28)
Fee: 50$ or 1 bingo
Teen and Adult GroupTeengp
Teen and Adult Group is a great place to meet new people, get out into the community and keep active while having fun! 
 
Who: Teens and young adults aged 13-29 years
Time: 7:00-9:00 pm
When: Thursdays
Where: Various locations throughout Edmonton
Dates: October 2015 - June 2016
Fee: $60 or 1 bingo (Further costs will apply depending on the event)

Regardless of physical ability, any individual can gain something from Taekwondo. The Paralympic Sports Association in partnership with Tiger Taekwondo provides skilled instructors that use traditional training techniques, regardless of physical limitations, to help students achieve balance between body, mind, and spirit. The instructors adapt each lesson to meet the goals and abilities of each participant. You will have the opportunity to be tested and move on to the next belt level.
Junior Program
Who: Ages 5-13 years 
Time: 10:00 - 11:00 am
When: Saturdays
Where: Tiger Taekwondo (7619 - 104 St)
Dates: 
September 19-November 28 2015, excluding October 10
January 9-April 30 2016, excluding February 13 and March 26

Registration Fee:   $240 (or 4 Bingos) PLUS 1 Mandatory Bingo or add 60$


Intermediate Program
Who: Ages 14 years - Adult
Time: 7:15 - 8:15 pm

Sledge HockeySled


Edmonton PSA Blades Junior Sledge Hockey: 

The junior division is where new players can learn the basic rules, skills and strategies of sledge hockey and current players can continue to develop their skills. Players will have the opportunity to play in game situations and learn to work as a team. The junior team has an opportunity to compete against other sledge hockey teams throughout the season

Program Runs:
Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Donnan Arena (9104-80 Ave, Edmonton)
October 6 - December 15, 2015
January 5 - March 8, 2016

Registration Fee: $300 (or 5 Bingos) plus 2 Mandatory Bingos [or add $120]
TOTAL of $420.00


Edmonton PSA Sledge Dogs Intermediate Sledge Hockey: 

The intermediate division is open to more advanced players, or older players who have just started, who are willing to play a more physical game.

Program Runs:
Tuesdays from 7:45- 9:15 pm at Donnan Arena (9104-80 Ave, Edmonton)
October 6 - December 15, 2015
January 5 - March 8, 2016

Edmonton Slapsticks Women's Sledge Hockey: 

This program is specifically designed for women who have never played sledge hockey before! Coaches will go over the basic skills and techniques on a sledge as well as the rules and strategy of game play. Everyone will be at the same level-Beginner-so come out and give it a try!

Program Runs:
Thursdays from 7:45-9:00 pm at Donnan Arena (9104-80 Ave, Edmonton)
October 8 - December 17, 2015
January 7 - March 10, 2015

Registration Fee: $280 (or 4 Bingos + $40) plus 2 Mandatory Bingos [or add $120]

PSA Winter Partywintparty
Multicultural Party! Pick a country (a few examples would be Ireland, Germany, Russia, Australia, Columbia, or South Africa!) and bring a dish or drink from that country!

Games, and activities will be available for all ages.

Alberta Cerebral Palsy Sports Association

Boccia and Power Soccer Summit 
Dates: August 26-30, 2015
The summit will include educational speaker sessions, coaching workshops, sport demonstrations , coaching sessions, and a tournament for both Boccia and Power Soccer. 
-Individuals can choose between a 2 day (tournament participation only), 3 day (educational sessions and workshops only) or full 5 day (educational sessions and tournament) attendance. 
-Meals are provided for all attendees.

Need a team building experience? Sledge hockey! We can bring sledges to you, with or without an on-ice instructor. A great opportunity for those school-aged or for corporate. Contact us for availability and pricing.
