SUDARSHANA HAVAN
108 HANUMAN CHALISA PARAYANA

Sudarshana Havan, 10:00 AM - 12 noon.
Sai temple Homa Kunda

Sudarshana Homa will be perfomed at the Sai temple Homa Kunda  this Saturday at 10:00 AM.

Sudarshana Chakra is the discuss held by Maha Vishnu, the Protector. It protects His devotees and all who surrender to It, against all evil. It will uphold Dharma, and annihilate anybody who is the doer of Adharma. Once, when sage Duruvasa cursed King Ambarisha unjustly, Sudarshana Chakra intervened and chased the sage. The sage was refused protection by Lord Brahma and Shiva from the Chakra and was asked to surrender to King Ambarisha and ask for forgiveness.

Sudarshana is the chief deity invoked in the Havan. Sudarshan Homa spreads positive energy and revitalizes the environment and the soul of those present where the Homa is performed. This Homa is also performed for good health as the Chakra has healing qualities. Register with family name and star in HAVAN.

108 Hanuman Chalisa Parayana, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Abishekam to Lord Hanuman, 7:00Pm - 8:30 PM

On Saturday, devotees will lead a 108 times chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa.

The Chalisa is part of Sundarkand of Ramcharitamanas authored by Saint Tulsidas. It sings the praise and glories of Lord Hanuman, devotee of Lord Ram. Legend has it that, Lord Ram was so moved with Hanuman's devotion, that he blessed him to be a Chiranjivee, one who remains immortal till the end of creation, to help the Lord's devotees. Chanting the Chalisa regularly helps one progress on the path of devotion, spreads hope, humility and determination.

Please join in the group chanting this Saturday,  between 1:00-7:00 PM. You do not have to be present for the entire duration, but being present for a part of the time at least, will bring immense internal peace. After the parayana, priests will perform abishekam followed by archana to Lord Hanuman.
