The big news this week is the start of the new
Western Wake Farmers Market at UNC Wellness Center at Northwest Cary. This is a
second site of WWFM, in addition to the Carpenter Village site, and is conveniently located in proximity to many of the new neighborhoods in West Cary, including Amberly, Cary Park, Horton's Creek, and many others nearby. The new site will have longer hours, from 7:30 am- 12:30 pm. Some of the vendors from the Carpenter Village site will also sell at the UNC site (we're one of those), and we've added a number of new vendors at the new site. We hope to see some of our existing customers as well as some new customers. Come check it out!
On May 16th the Town of Morrisville will be holding their annual
East Meets West Festival. There will be great food, music, dancing and entertainment. It's a great way to find out about many of the restaurants and merchants right in your own backyard. We will be there selling hot coffee, iced coffee and iced tea.
