Greetings and Blessings from Jerusalem

To My Dear Friends,

Greetings and Blessings from Jerusalem. So I have not written for a while but I have been crazily busy with things here in Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Sarah continues doing an amazing job in the North of Iraq. The stories from there continue to be awful. Sarah says that things are particularly bad in the UN refugee camps. Whilst the media state that food and education is being provided for the children what Sarah tell me is very different. She says things are particularly bad in the Christian camps and there is absolutely no education and only limited food. When I spoke to Sarah today she had just got 45,000 bottles of water. The needs are still so great and we still really need your help to meet these needs not only in Iraq but also here in the Palestinian area.

One of the things that has been really positive is our new work with the Evangelical Church in Bethlehem. What is more this church is seriously about reconciliation and truly loves Israel. We have some truly exciting things to do together.

Sunday is the day to pray for the persecuted Church will you please remember us and pray for us that we may be able to meet the needs of those who are persecuted for their faith.

Blessings,

 Canon Andrew White
