Having a baby can be the most exciting, nerve-racking, beautiful and scary event in your life. The anticipation of holding your newborn evokes all types of emotions and has your mind racing with plans and things you need to do and need to learn how to do. New mothers know they need to find a good pediatrician and learn all they can about baby's health requirements - when to go for that first check-up, when to get immunizations, what the best nourishment is...the list is endless. But what many moms forget about is the need for their own postpartum care and how important that is to their well-being as well as their child's.   Taking care of YOU is a key element of being the best mom possible.  Read more about postpartum care here.
